(just kiddin')

don't apologize for asking a question Ashes. try my new words to live by "NOTHING IS OBVIOUS."

in case you didn't know, you can click on "MOTB" or "Charlie Miller" or "Barry Glassberg" and you can see all the entries into the LMA by those people.

here's the MOTB stuff

with the recent developments (the download sites getting shut down) i have been spending most of my time checking out the AUDs -- i'm sure others have been doing the same. AND ACTUALLY, i find now that i really enjoy it -- if THE CROWD isn't too high in the mix, it only takes a minute to adjust and focus on on the music -- and then in addition you pick up on the crowd energy -- it kind of enhances the experience.

this is what i am diggin' right now: Grateful Dead Live at Charlotte Coliseum on 1979-05-03

i like how the one kid keeps caling out for "All Over Now" and then they finally play it -- think they heard him? a hot first set indeed....

And while we're confessing our ignorance I've seen references to '420' that made me feel there was something I didn't understand. Am I missing anything interesting ?

On the plus side I've just got home from a 4 1/2 hour beer festival, I can still type, and my team (football ie soccer) has won this afternoon.

I thought I once tracked down the origin to some local california drug ordinance regarding smoking or possession, though it could have even have been a cali city ordinance (and I am not referring to the medical maryjane bill hb420).

but I might be wrong, short-term memory problems, ya know...

though I do know that 4:20 on 4-20 is always a special time...

btw: I like that: "IT"S ALWAYS 4:20 somewhere!!"

kind-of reminds me of my parent's old clock that read "we only drink after 5" and there were only 5's on the clock.
